WriteCookieAsync Method (ICookieFactory)

The user.
Name of the cookie.
The cookie value.
The UTC date the cookie expires.
Optionally propagates notification that operations should be canceled.
Writes the cookie to the cookie store and substitute the value in the HTTPResponse.
Syntax
Task WriteCookieAsync( 
   IUserIdentity user,
   string cookieName,
   string cookieValue,
   DateTime expiresUtc,
   CancellationToken cancellationToken
)

Parameters

user
The user.
cookieName
Name of the cookie.
cookieValue
The cookie value.
expiresUtc
The UTC date the cookie expires.
cancellationToken
Optionally propagates notification that operations should be canceled.
Remarks
If transparent encryption is used the value of the cookies will be decrypted before the .Net pipeline accesses the cookie values.

Target Platforms: Windows 7, Windows Vista SP1 or later, Windows XP SP3, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core supported with SP1 or later), Windows Server 2003 SP2
