RenderThenBlock Method

Use RenderThenBlock to Manually trigger a blocking indecent for a user after rendering the page.

Syntax

void RenderThenBlock( 
   UserBlockingRule reason,
   string description,
   TimeSpan duration,
   Uri? redirect
)

Parameters

reason: the reason and type of incident to generate
description: a description of the incident used for reporting reference
duration: duration for the blocking
redirect: redirect to location for this the user that triggered the incident leave blank to block

Remarks

This method it will render the page but after that, all future requests that fall in a time span to be redirected or blocked

Requirements

Target Platforms: Windows 7, Windows Vista SP1 or later, Windows XP SP3, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core supported with SP1 or later), Windows Server 2003 SP2
