GetReverseDNS(String,Int32) Method

Resolve the DNS name of a domain or an IP address

Syntax

string GetReverseDNS( 
   string hostNameOrAddress,
   int timeout
)

Parameters

hostNameOrAddress
timeout: How long you are willing to wait on the answer

Return Value

The DNS reverse proxy name

Exceptions

Exception	Description
System.Net.Sockets.SocketException	An exception stating "No such host is known" if the host name does not resolve.
